Simon
Tilling kicked off his season with a fantastic result last weekend at Castle
Combe. He took to the track in his Radical SR3 RS, sporting a new for 2011 RPE
GSX-R Turbo 1300cc engine which produces 400bhp/260ftlb.
The system
features:
- Multiple power calibrations for
different conditions, which can be changed using a switch on the dash.
- Gear-related
boost control.
- Hi-specification intercooler.
- Full engine data-logging.
The bank
holiday weekend was very successful, Simon braved the rising temperatures and came
away with pole position, race win and the fastest lap in the race. His fastest
lap time of the day was a 1:03.6, which was only 2/10 off the overall circuit record.
